The actual competitors of the Thar Roxx as far as the adventure oriented 5-door market is concerned are few – the Force Gurkha 5-Door and the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. It is a modest portion in terms of volume but ardent.

The Force Gurkha 5-Door is more serious than the other two with 4×4 standard on all of them and an actual low-range capability standard off the shelf. It is however a barebones machine with simple safety technology, no ADAS, untested crash rating and a powertrain that is all diesel which is not as refined as the Roxx on the road. It is the option of a person whose main settings are real off-road environments and does not require the comfort of the cabin of the Roxx.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny is smaller, lighter, with better ability in the city traffic.
